Presidential Blues play as either a Trio or Duo consisting of “Big D” on Resonator Guitar, stompbox & vocals, and “Uncle Leon” on Harmonica & vocals, or a Trio including ‘The G Man” on bass guitar.

They have been performing since 2016, and initially started out as a Guitar / Bass Duo, before our harmonica player joined (one of the best harp players in Australia)

They play a mix of covers and originals in the old delta blues style, with a tinge of Ragtime Jazz thrown in as well. We play locally on the Gold Coast, as well as in Brisbane as featured act at places like the Bearded Lady, Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall, and the Triffid, as well as appearing in Music Festivals around SE QLD

They are all very experienced players, with over 80+ years playing experience between them.

They have been building a cult following around the SE QLD area and working on more originals with the aim to release an album, and play at more festivals.
